Legend won FIRST PLACE and COLOR CHAMPION at the 2005 AOBA National Show. Legend competed in the largest class in the one of the largest alpaca shows in US history. Over 60 of the finest alpacas from across the United States were entered in this extremely competitive class in all age groups.
Dr. Julio Sumar, one of the most respected and admired alpaca judges in the world, remarked that Legend "is what all alpaca breeders should be breeding for. This animal is magnificent. His density, fineness, and crimp are extraordinary and he shows great presence in the ring."
Legend rocked the National Show when he competed against alpacas as much as 4 years younger and won. Dr. Sumar said he was very impressed that Legend still maintains his density, crimp and fineness.
Legend is a gorgeous full Peruvian, half-Accoyo stud and is co-owned by Mike & Lori Bacon of Legacy Hills Farm
